Charmed, I’m sure

This week’s Mixed Media Monday challenge was “Enchanted.” After a lot of agonizing, I decided to use an image from Dover’s free weekly samples that I had printed onto fabric. The image was in brown tones, so I decided to paint in colors. I had recently gotten a stash of lace from ebay and decided that the creamy lace would frame the piece perfectly. I added buttons at the corners for a pop of color. Then I dug through my beads and found some glass butterflies to dance around the fairy queen. I final swirl or embroidered gold on the opposite corner, and I am done.
